A city is full of places where people could connect: a favourite café, a fitness club, a restaurant, a shared workspace or an evening event. What often makes the difference is having a reason to start a conversation—and a welcoming setting in which to continue it.
Daty.ai’s city activation model brings these local places and people into the development of its relationship-intelligence platform.
You will hear several terms as the network grows: Pioneers, Pioneer Builders and Pioneer Hubs. Each describes a different contribution to the same ambition: creating a community that connects the digital experience with real life.
What does city activation mean?
City activation is the practical work of establishing a local Daty.ai community.
It includes identifying suitable venues, preparing local participants, introducing people to Daty.ai and developing activities that fit the city. A launch event can introduce the vision; the work around it creates continuity.
In Belgrade, for example, the next phase following the MOVE launch focuses on venue onboarding, local preparation and the operating standards needed for ongoing community activity. Read the Belgrade activation update.
A city launch and public availability of the app are separate milestones. Community preparation can begin while the product is still being developed and tested. Product access, confirmed locations and event details are announced through official Daty.ai channels.
Who are Pioneers?
Pioneers are early community advocates who help introduce Daty.ai to others.
Someone might participate by sharing an official invitation, attending a local event, introducing a potential venue or helping people find accurate information about the project.
The contribution begins with a genuine connection: knowing someone who might be interested and giving them the opportunity to explore it for themselves.
“Founding” recognition acknowledges participation during an early stage of the programme. The applicable roles and participation rules are explained in the Pioneer Programme Terms.
Who are Pioneer Builders?
Pioneer Builders take a more active part in developing the local community.
Their focus is helping turn interest into organised activity: identifying potential Hub venues, making introductions, helping interested people understand the programme and supporting approved local initiatives.
A Builder might introduce a café owner to the Daty.ai team, help communicate an upcoming event or connect people who want to contribute to their city’s community.
The distinction is straightforward: Pioneers help introduce Daty.ai; Pioneer Builders help develop the local network around it.
Builders work within the programme’s approved activities. Venue approval, commercial arrangements and official commitments remain with the authorised Daty.ai team.
What is a Pioneer Hub?
A Pioneer Hub is an approved venue participating in Daty.ai’s physical community network.
Cafés, restaurants, fitness centres, lounges and other suitable locations can provide familiar places where people discover the project and encounter local community activity.
Depending on its agreed participation and readiness, a Hub may display an official QR code, share approved information, take part in co-promotion or host selected activities. Hosting events is not a requirement for every Hub.
The application process includes review and business verification before activation. Approved locations can become visible through the Hub network as their setup and permissions are confirmed. Explore the Pioneer Hub programme.
How do these roles work together?
Imagine a local café interested in becoming part of Daty.ai.
A Pioneer Builder introduces the owner to the team. The venue applies, completes the required checks and, once approved and ready, receives its agreed Hub materials.
A customer notices the Daty.ai QR code and follows it to learn more or join the waiting list. Later, the café might participate in an announced local activity, giving interested people another reason to return.
This is an illustration of the intended experience. What each location offers depends on its activation stage and the activities confirmed for it.
The roles fit together naturally:
The Hub provides a place and an existing local audience.
Pioneers introduce people to the community.
Builders help develop local connections and activity.
Daty.ai provides the platform, programme framework and official information.
What does this mean for you?
For someone interested in Daty.ai, the local network offers ways to discover the project through places and communities they already know.
For a venue, it creates opportunities for visibility, co-promotion and relevant community activity.
For someone who enjoys bringing people together, the Pioneer programme offers a way to contribute as the network develops.
You can also simply follow Daty.ai and join the waiting list. Taking an active community role is a separate choice.
